Stef Miller
As an avid outdoor athlete and as someone who has transcended her own injuries and debilitating illnesses, Stef draws upon her diverse background in the health sciences and the healing arts to help inspire others to move into a lifestyle of balance and health. She has studied alternative and complementary healing, trained at the Duke Center for Living, and has apprenticed under internationally respected healer, teacher and author, Jan Rupp, since 1999. Currently, Stef is collaborating with doctors from the NIH in an effort to better understand Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. In addition to her Pilates practice, trail running, kiteboarding, cycling, open-water swimming, telemark skiing and surfing imbue her life with healthful recreation. "Stef is an unbelievable instructor! Not only does she tailor training sessions to my special needs, she's a great resource for healing oriented support and advice. I highly recommend Stef to anybody who wants to get a great workout with a passionate and caring instructor." Neal Kearney, Journalist and surfer, diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis in June '09 |
